One word…. NO.
People should consider eating less meat as a way of combating global warming, says the UN’s top climate scientist.
Rajendra Pachauri, who chairs the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), will make the call at a speech in London on Monday evening.
UN figures suggest that meat production puts more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere than transport.
blah, blah, blah, global warming. blah, blah, blah, we’ll all die
mmmmmm - steak
1) We live in the upper Midwest.
2) The temperature has been going down for the last decade, not up.
3) Solar data indicates further lowering of the temperature is likely.
4) Human civilizations have done far better when the temperature is warmer.
5) Even if there is AGW, mitigation of its effects would cost far less than preventing AGW.
6) Methane is a far more potent greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide.
Therefore: EAT MEAT!

Are we having brats tonight?
Posted by (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) on September 07, 2008 at 1747 hrsNo, you know what, if there’s a group of selective eaters that the environmentalist whackos need to go after, it’s VEGETARIANS. These @$$holes are the ones killing and eating all the plants that use CO2 and produce breathable oxygen. Maybe we’d have less greenhouse gasses if these jerks would leave the plants alone!
Not only that, but the more beef we eat, the less cows there will be to release methane into the air!
EAT MEAT!

That reminds me of Homer Simpson’s famous line… “Au jour, not quite gravy, not quite blood.”
Yup, Venison. Especially if you are outa duck, goose, grouse, turkey, squirrel, bear, walleye, bluegil, northern, and crappie.
I hear wild hog is fantastic.
Kill it and grill it.
Moose steak coming soon to the White House menu!!
We should invite Mr. Pachauri to a dinner hosted by Ted Nugent.
