“Troopergate” Put to Bed

Now you know

A report has cleared Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin of ethics violations in the firing of her public safety commissioner.

Released Monday, the report says there is no probable cause to believe Palin or any other state official violated the Alaska Executive Ethics Act in connection with the firing. The report was prepared by Timothy Petumenos, an independent counsel for the Alaska Personnel Board.

  1. This is the report she herself commissioned from the board that she herself appoints, you know.  SO much more impartial than the legislature’s probe, I’m sure.

  2. Yes.  The investigation run by a Democrat who contributed to her opponent’s campaign.  I’m sure he’s just one of her hacks.

  3. This from the guy who has no issues with Jim Doyle’s Government “Accountability” Board.

You really are a hack Jay.

  5. Well, as evidenced by comment 1, this issue will never be considered put to bed by the rabid left.

  6. One probe starts before the Governor is involved in an election and has unanimous support from a bipartisan legislative council.

The other probe starts in the midst of an election after Palin’s personal lawyer (who likely got the job after being recommended by the RNC/McCain campaign) instructs the governor appointed personnel board to conduct an investigation and is released on the eve of an election.

If you aren’t going to trust the findings of the first one, you can’t seriously trust the findings of the second one.

BTW - It is unbelievable that Ms. Wasilla isn’t willing to state if she voted for Sen. Stevens or not.  Oh well, just reason #4080 why she isn’t fit to govern.
