Tribal Gaming Revenue Up

Nice business if the government will enforce your monopoly.

Tribal gaming revenue in Wisconsin increased from $1 billion in 2002 to $1.3 billion in 2006 in aggregate – representing a 24.4 percent increase in a five-year period reviewed by the Legislative Audit Bureau in 2007. It’s the latest state data available because the bureau only analyzes data every other year and is not scheduled to release another report until 2009.

  2. John McCain will put the national interest ahead of partisanship, he will work with anyone who sincerely wants to get this country moving again. If John McCain is elected President, the era of the permanent campaign will end. The era of problem solving will begin.

    I agree.

Reminds me of how the government enables the illegal drug industry with laws that make sure that the marketplace is exclusive to those willing to risk legal reprecussions.

  4. Now can they come up with the $200,000 to pay for the language/cultural preservation program?  Or do I have to kick more of my money into the kitty?

  5. Those damn injuns!

If only stupid white people would stop being their customers.

And speaking of monopolies, how about that whopping $150 BILLION ten year contract for Cheney’s buddies over at Haliburton?

Nice work when the administration enforces a monopoly,

  6. This gambling is a regressive tax on the people who can’t afford it.  This is what frustrates me about a guy like Doyle.  If he truly wants to be a progressive in the Wisconsin tradition, he’d have stopped this mess from getting worse.
