Bad news: Looks like Tom Brady is out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL.
Good news: Cowboys have a good chance at the Super Bowl and it would be nice for New England to be out of the way.
Bad news but not as bad as the bad news above: Tom Brady was my starting quarterback in my fantasy football league.
The Favre trade looks even stupider now. I wonder what the Pats would be willing to give up to get their hands on Favre now.

The jury will be out on that call until at least tomorrow night.
It will be interesting to compare the stats for Favre and Rodgers. Don’t worry about doing it yourself. Plenty of people will do it for you.

Posted by on September 07, 2008 at 2124 hrsBrady was the third pick in the first round in my league. I was in the 5th spot and took Westbrook with my pick. Glad I won’t have to hear the media felating Brady again this year. Seems their backup won today, maybe people will realize that it’s a team over there, and not just the QB that’s a great player.
Posted by on September 07, 2008 at 2124 hrsYeah. The Packers should have fired up that crystal ball.
Posted by jimi on September 07, 2008 at 2127 hrsLet’s see Brady had the 3rd longest consecutive starting streak (behind Payton and Favre) of QB’s....
How long will Aaron “glass” Rodgers last - does he make it through the first quarter? This isn’t pre-season…
Posted by on September 07, 2008 at 2345 hrsIt shouldn’t be a surprise that Owen is rooting for the Cowgirls. My nephew was a Cowgirl fan when he was younger and the kids in Seymour (near Green Bay) made life just a tad miserable on him. Yeah, he deserved it.
