Tipped Off?

Police are trying to determine whether Cedarburg High School students were tipped off to a multi-agency drug sweep that was conducted at the school Thursday.

Cedarburg Police Chief Tom Frank said today there have been enough claims that students knew about the sweep a day ahead of time that he wants to determine if there was a leak of information.

No drugs were found during the 70-minute check of lockers, hallways and parking lots, although trained dogs found indications of the presence of drugs in a locker and four vehicles.
