This is an interesting little cultural phenomenon.
Tim Tebow is already generating big dollars for the NFL in jersey sales. He was the most sold jersey by far on the NFL’s website in April, despite not actually being the league for most of the month.
How is this cultural. Or suprisng? Or news?
This is surprising to an extent. Given the timing (the month of April) it would favor a recent draftee. That being said, Tebow? I guess he is probably better known (for both his college exploits and his status as a Christian) than say, Sam Bradford.
