The Tale of Al Gore’s Carbon Footprint

Al and Tipper were playing footsie with Al’s carbon footprint the other day.  They sang,

This little piggy flew in a jet to the Oscars,
This little piggy stayed home and turned on all the lights.
This little piggy shamed everyone into energy consciousness
This little piggy had none.
And THIS little piggy cried hypocrisy, hypocrisy, hypocrisy all the way to the bank.

  2. Friday Rush blew another whistle on ALgore.  Seems Al owns the company he buys the carbon credits from and Algore is the only one who can buy them.

  3. Hmmm…it still doesn’t sink to the level of a vice president or president who makes money off of his decisions to go to war via holdings in a company that is hired to do rebuilding….ahem.

So what’s the point?  Gore is an amateur hack politician?  He’s not too smart?  Vice-president and/or president rate a 9 on the hypocrisy meter, Gore rates a 7?  I guess this could go on and on, bringing in all examples of present (and past) politicians who have demonstrated hypocritical tendencies, and rate them as being on a higher or lower level.
