The Lone Clapper Fills In

I’m off for a few days.  In the meantime, I’ve invited Representative Bill “The Lone Clapper” Kramer to take my half of the helm for a while (it’s the bottom half).  Please remember that B&S readers have a long history of being mostly civil, thoughtful, and informative.  I expect nothing less with our guest blogger.

Enjoy…

  2. “The Lone Clapper” ... what’s that about?

  3. What’s the “Lone Clapper” about you ask?

“Representative” Bill Kramer earned this distinction going back to Governor Doyle’s State of the State speech early in 2007.

In the speech, Doyle decried the record profits of Big Oil and Uncle Bill applauded wildly (the only person in the Assembly Chamber to do so) since record profits for Big Oil are a good thing in his humble opinion.

It’s not readily clear who/what the representative represents.  It’s also not clear why no one else joined in the clapping.

That is very amusing, thanks for the anecdote.

    His district, I assume.
