Teleglasses

How long before someone starts driving with this?

Engineers in Japan unveiled a micro television screen that plays video from a user’s eyeglasses while ensuring a normal visual field.

The Teleglass T3-F glasses, which promise to “turn commuting hell into a heavenly experience,” were announced Monday by the Scalar Corporation.

The world’s first electric and detachable micro-screen has been designed to attach to customers’ glasses.

  1. Rockwell (a diviision in Iowa IIRC) had computer monitors like that at the National Design Show a good 5 years ago.

  2. This will be great for funeral homes and body shops.  How many distractions to driving do we need?- sound systems, radios, cell phones, coffee cups, big macs, and now this!
