I’ll be on Sunday Insight with Charlie Sykes this morning on TMJ4 at 10:30 AM.
Tune in or regret it for the rest of y’all’s lives!
I am a big fan of seeing the term y’all’s in print!! Well done…on the show, too!
Missed it, somebody no names mentioned started a rumor that the show started at 10:30. Catch ya next time.
Owen…Well Done on “Sykes Tv”..I’m just getting started on your site although I’ve peeked more than once..The internet is great but a time eater too..so I resist starting a new involvement..I have been an elected local official and have
written to C, Sykes about the “politics of deception”..Do you agree than too often what we see on tv and in print is really only working to confuse..or.. who is better at fooling who.Like democrates are working for the benefit of the poor?? when they could be helping the poor become more independant!!
Why dont you and “C” talk more about the benefit and need to reform the IRS/Tax System..Any Thoughts..??Later!! Lee
Owen—-glad to see you sit up in your chair. McIlhernan is always slouching. ![]()
Interesting to see your panel and the Meet the Press panel beforehand. All the liberals somehow seem to think last Tuesday’s election was about Obama not being able to properly sell his message. And that somehow better communications would do the trick.
I hope they keep thinking that, because it will mean a GOP rout in November. People know Obama’s priorities. They have just rejected them based on the merits of the ideas.
The 20% in the middle elected a guy they thought would be more moderate than Bush. They didn’t elect our new Che.
It was very revealing to see Michael Holt say that the American people are too stupid to make up their own minds regarding political advertising. The state must control the content of advertising as well as the ability of corporations to even place an ad. We live in very scary times thank god for Scott Brown and lets hope the message of MA is carried on in WI with the defeat of Russ Feingold!!
LIVE FREE OR DIE!!
Nice job Owen. I think next time you are on - you should have a side bet with Charlie on how many times that hack Fleming says “for heaven’s sake” - he channels Gibbs pretty well on that show.
As far as Holt - there’s a reason he is there every week. He doesn’t have anything else to do. It’s funny to watch him stumble all over himself to praise Obama (just because he is black I’m assuming, since Holt sees everything through racist eyes) and yet contribute nothing to the conversation at hand. He channels Al Sharpton - just not very well.
Is Holt the guy that has the insane fear of the asian carp?
Bill, have you ever met Mikel Holt?
