D’oh!
State officials suspended Sullivan’s law license on May 28, said John Kosobucki, director of the state Board of Bar Examiners. Kosobucki said Friday that the first-term Democrat has yet to file papers to have his license reinstated, even though he is listed as the attorney of record in two open cases, according to the state online court system database.
Reached this week, Sullivan said he erred by failing to report that he had taken 30 credits of continuing legal education by the May 27 deadline. He said he has earned 37 credits and mailed the paperwork to Madison on the Friday before the Memorial Day weekend.
