Wisconsin’s economy lost 7,900 private-sector jobs in May but federal, state and local governments hired enough workers to offset the private-sector declines, according to the state’s latest employment report, released Thursday.
[...]
Thursday’s data, however, made clear that all levels of government hired in May.
The federal government added 3,800 jobs after adjustments to account for seasonal factors, such as the start of school vacations. Without adjustments, the federal government added 4,100 positions.
State government added 3,100 jobs with adjustments and 2,900 without. Local and county governments added an adjusted 1,000 jobs and an unadjusted 1,200 jobs.
Fewer and fewer private sector workers to pay for more and more government workers. It’s an unsustainable trend.
Not to worry, the Ministry of Truth will come out with revised numbers in a week or two and it will all be better.
Followed by confirmation from the Department of Redundancy Department.
Where’s the information showing a “trend”?
