Want to tell the Legislators how to fix the budget? Want to tell them NOT to raise taxes? You can do it tomorrow in Milwaukee.
Senate Committee on Finance
Wednesday, March 19, 2008
10:00 AM
University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee
Student Union - Union Theater (2nd Floor)
2200 East Kenwood Blvd
Milwaukee, WI 53201
The people who want to spend your money will be there. Will you?
If they schedule one up north, I’ll try to attend. Good that they’re having the hearings ...
One problem with a meeting at 10 am on a Wednesday is most hard working conservatives who oppose raising taxes will be at work.
Year seriously, WTF. Who just has Wednesday mornings open to go to something like this?
Who just has Wednesday mornings open to go to something like this?
-people without jobs
-people who are independantly wealthy who’s money already exists as an asset and is sheltered from tax.
-heart over mind college students who haven’t yet felt the squeeze of taxes.
You know… all those good folks who will asking for something vs. the hard working folks who are providing the revenue source.
Come off it! Am I to take it by your comments that this really bad meeting time, a staple of Wisconsin politicians holding “open public meetings” somehow rides harder on hard working conservatives who want to hold the line on taxes? What folly! Get over yourselves.

yes
Mike,
Yes. The choice of a college campus during the middle of the day is a poor one.
