Sewage Reservoir Breaks Free

Wow.  What a crappy way to go.

An earth embankment around a sewage reservoir collapsed Tuesday, spewing a river of waste and mud that killed five people and forced residents to flee from a village in the northern Gaza Strip, officials said.

I wonder if the money was diverted from building the levies into other projects.

    I didn’t know Blanco and Nagin were in Gaza?
    What, were they making that a “chocolate Gaza” too?

    Seriously though, the infrastructure in formerly held Israeli lands has been neglected and the Palestinian Gubment keeps spending on rockets and explosives. These stories are all to common. Israel gives Palestine what it wants, land, land is neglected and becomes a wasteland.

  2. I like the report that claimed that it is the fault of the west because we stopped giving them scads of money when they elected the terrorists into govt. I say good riddance. First, just like in New Orleans, when you live under the water you should expect to get wet and second like a lot of welfare why is it my responsibility to make sure some 3rd world country does not commit suicide? The world warned them and they thumbed their nose at it. Just like with most of the world and the welfare mentality, the receivers just want me to give them the money and then shut the hell up and go away. I do not let my children run my household and I do not understand why we allow any other dependant make stupid decisions. If you want my money you will do as I say. If you want to be on welfare, you better stop making kids and running up medical bills because you feel the need to shoot up. If you want the West’s money you better not elect terrorist organizations and refuse to follow UN warnings that using a reservoir intended for 50,000 people for over 200,000.
