Run, Fred, Run

Me?  I agree with Little Miss Attila about the prospect of Fred Thompson entering the race.

It seems to me that Thompson is taking the same stance with respect to Giuliani (or possibly Romney) that Schwarzenegger took vis a vis Richard Riordan in 2003 after we recalled Gray Davis: “You may have the ball provisionally. However, I’m going to take it back if I don’t think you can cross the goal line.”

Me? The idea of voting for someone who truly believes in the Second Amendment excites me so much, I may have to send myself to bed without my supper.

  1. Owen, I’ll go to bed without supper and breakfast too.  I watched Thompson on Fox Nes today.  Would gladly be his backup any day! I feel he is saying it like he believes it.

  4. I want to hear more from him on the issues.  He’s always been too chummy with McCain for my comfort.  However the rest of the GOP field is so abysmal, I’d welcome a fresh face.

  6. Nice driveby there Ron!

Thompson voted guilty on the obstruction of justice charge but not guilty on the perjury charge.
