Disappointed that folks didn’t see how much Ziegler could have brought to the table.
Charlie, I think if he had tried harder, he could have won. He gave such weak answers to the very few stories the paper did about this race. I would have liked to have him on the board if only to see him deal with Joe Carlson. That would have been entertaining.
If Weigand and Marquardt can split the 652 votes Ziegler got, I think you’ve got a chance to toss out the two tax and spenders in Corazzi and Van Eerden.
Wendy, you are so right. When someone is supremely confident in his knowledge, “I don’t (yet) know” is an easier answer to give, but probably not a smart one in this new media age. I guess maybe he’s just a bit too old for this. He’s just such a standup guy. And yes, it would have been greatly entertaining.
