Rep. Wieckert Retires

Thank you for your service, Steve.

Six-term Rep. Steve Wieckert (R-Appleton) has told his local newspaper that he won’t seek re-election in November.

Wieckert, 53, is the third Republican to announce retirement from the Assembly. Two Democrats have made the same announcement.
