Rams to Train at Concordia

Cool.

The St. Louis Rams will hold their summer training camp at Concordia University of Wisconsin in Mequon.

Concordia, based in Mequon, had been considered the front runner. An official announcement is expected soon.

The decision means that three professional football teams will have summer camps in Wisconsin. Besides the Green Bay Packers, the Kansas City Chiefs train at the University of Wisconsin- River Falls.

  1. Don’t Da Bears still train at UW-Platteville?

  2. They bailed out of Plateville a couple years ago.

  3. Training camps are fun. The Cowboys had their training camps here in Austin while they were winning their early 90s Super Bowls. I don’t know what kind of camp Rams coach Linehan will run, but Jimmy Johnson’s were pretty loose and fun, and you’d see players all the time.

Of course, St. Edwards University ended up throwing them out for trashing the place one year.
