Protesters Damaging St. Paul

Jerks.

At least 56 people were arrested Monday after police fired projectiles and used pepper spray and tear gas to disperse a crowd demonstrating near the site of the Republican National Convention.

Police fire tear gas to dispurse protesters in St. Paul, Minnesota, Monday.

CNN photojournalists witnessed police detaining between 20 and 30 individuals with plastic handcuffs a few blocks from the security perimeter around the Xcel Center in downtown St. Paul.

A crowd of 300 individuals was later seen conducting what appeared to be a sit-in at a parking lot near the Mississippi River.

Earlier Monday, a group of self-described anarchists threw park benches into streets and smashed windows, police said.

  4. Word of advice to radical idiot leftists everywhere:  the more you engage in this kind of behavior, the more votes are lost to the other side.

  5. For people who are anti-war - they sure are violent. I would expect people who are against war to be against violence - but I guess that would be thinking logically.

But - hey - I enjoyed watching them get pepper sprayed. That will put a crimp in your day.

You want to protest something - hey - knock yourself out. Is it too much to ask that you act in a responsible manner?

  6. The “anti-war” is just a sympathy-garnering facade.  They couldn’t care less about Iraq—they’re anti-establishment, anti-society, anti-order.  If out of the blue McCain stood up and said, “Hey, you’re right, this is a stupid waste and I’ll bring the troops home on January 22” they’d protest THAT.

I’m guessing daddy issues; they feel left-out or unloved, so everyone else needs to suffer too.

  7. Apparently the FBI didn’t arrest enough journalists yet.

  8. Folkbum,

How many people were arrested at the peaceful demonstrations at the DEM convention?

Do you remember the slashing of the tires in Milwaukee?

The people who were arrested were not journalists, they were the card carrying, tinhat crowd, that splintered off of the main protest.  These people are the base of the Dem’s.

The drive-by media hasn’t reported this at all.  Search for this on Google, and notice that the drive-by’s have taken a total pass…
