Um, Obama? You do know about all of the civil rights abuses that took place to build that infrastructure, right?
Hat tip Nick.
Hey, who are you to complain about China’s civil rights abuses when you probably voted twice to put that awful awful man GWB in the White House?
(I don’t really believe that, just thought I’d get that sentiment out of the way so Scott wouldn’t have to post it. We all know where this comment thread is heading.)

What?!?!? First he makes a statement of fact. The he speaks in the third person from a corporation’s point of view. Where do civil rights abuses come into play? I know they occured, you know they occured, Obama knows they occured. But, civil rights abuses in China or not doesn’t impact the point. We are not investing in infrastructure in this country the way we need to, and it has an impact on jobs. All the tax cuts, incentives and subsidies in the world don’t do one-tenth for economic development as appropriately developed infrastructure.
Well, I don’t know of any third person corporation that would say “their ports are vastly superior to ours. Beijing is looking like a pretty good option.” ![]()
