Pledge Signers

Well, it’s nice to be noticed.

24: Members of the Assembly - 22 Republicans and two Democrats—who have pledged to vote against “any and all tax increases.” Three others have signed a similar pledge with the Boots & Sabers blog.

Actually, 11 great Assemblyfolks signed the tax pledge at B&S.  Unless they mean that 3 other folks signed the B&S pledge who didn’t sign the others.  I’m not sure.  In any case, here they are.  Please call them and thank them for sticking up for the taxpayers.

Rep. Vukmir
Rep. LeMahieu
Rep. Lothian
Rep. Pridemore
Rep. Lasee
Rep. Zipperer
Rep. Nass
Rep. Kramer
Rep. Nygren
Rep. Gunderson
Rep. Ziegelbauer

  1. And don’t forget to wish them well in their new endeavors outside of politics.

  2. Grumps -

Which one of these people actually ran on a “I’ll raise taxes” motto?  it seems to me they probably are just keeping their word - a more and more rare creature in Madison these days.

Outside of Lothian, not one of them won by less then a 10 point margin.  It seems they are pretty safe.

By your logic, Doyle should not have won re-election because he vowed not ro raise taxes, too.

We all await your keen insight into this phenomenon.  There is no one so self-righteous as an income redistrbutor…

  3. You think Crazy Frank Lasee is safe?

Granted, he ran unopposed last year… but really…  Publius, that guys’ on Tom Reynolds watch as we speak.

Also, Publius, Nygren’s win was not 10 points…
Just to clear your facts on a couple of things, chief.
