What the heck… Dean is doing it. I’ll give it a shot.
Bal. at Ten. (Sat. 3:30 pm). I’ll take the Ravens. The Titans were a phenomenon, but that Baltimore defense is fired up.
Ari. at Car. (Sat. 7:15 pm). Carolina. Arizona is overrated.
Phi. at NYG (Sun. noon). Giants. Granted, I’d like them both to lose, but the Giants are the better team.
SD at Pit. (Sun. 3:45 pm). This one is hard. The Chargers are hot, but beat up. Pittsburgh has a very streaky offense, but a great defense. In this case, I’d go with Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is at home in what will be very cold weather and west coast teams have trouble coming east to play in the cold.
I guess we’ll know by Sunday night.
I probably should have gone with the Steelers too.
I’d like to know the recent playoff records of teams that had a bye in the first round.
I agree with your picks. But not so much to put money on the games.
Straight up ... Baltimore, Carolina, NY Giants and Pittsburgh.
ATS: Balitmore +3, Carolina -9½, Philadelphia +4½, San Diego +6½ (Caesar’s lines)
Arizona may be overrated, but not as much as Carolina was. Cardinals have turned their game around and if Philly upsets Giants tomorrow there is a game in AZ next weekend.
Indeed. Arizona was down right impressive tonight. Kudos to them.
They were impressive as was the Raven defense. Obviously I thought the Panthers and Titans offense would be better.
