Peacekeepers Trade Guns for Gold

  1. Should I bring up the alleged atrocities committed by our own troops when engaged in foreign operations?  surely you don’t condemn the entire force for the actions of a few, right?

  2. Not at all.  I just don’t think that we should put the U.N. above reproach.

  3. No organization is above reproach.  But I’ve seen these types of things used to utterly discredit the very concept of the UN.

  4. There is no need to discredit the U.N.
There actions alone discredit the existence of this body.
Again Scott you trot out the moral equivalence argument.
Try debating the issue instead of using that tact.
What atrocities have American G.I.‘s committed?
Please list them so I can refute your lack of knowledge of facts.

I implore you to state them. It would be like fish in a barrel to refute your moral equivalence argument.

Please engage me on this debate.
I will stand up for my bretheren.

Once again you shade the issue. Is your argument a penumbra of emminence? Heh Heh, try it.
