President Obama gave his speech in Madison today. In part of it, he said this:
“...and created or saved over one million jobs…”
What? His administration just released a report saying that it had saved or created 650,000 jobs. And THAT report has already been widely discredited. Obama’s now claiming it’s a million jobs?
Methinks he’s making this up as he does along.
Come on, he was in Madison!! He could have said 1,000 jobs or 10,000,000 jobs and he would have gotten the same robust “woo-hoo” from the crowd. (or at least from Keith Schmitz). It’s not like they would be interested in any fact checking.
Or maybe he applied some kind of Biden-invented inverse mathematical algorithim that converted the actual number to 1,000,000. I mean, Biden managed to convert “JOBS” into a three-letter word.
This morning they explained that Obama administration counted six temporary employees as 450 new jobs because that is how many hours they worked.
The million jobs he spoke of was probably, well ah, the hours of people working temporary jobs.
Dah, its simple socialized math.
I have always called it “Obama’s fuzzy math”. I am surprised I am not required to teach that as part of the curriculum yet. ha ha

near the end of the part, it is sooooo true! We were told last Spring, at a large meeting of all of us special ed. teachers with our Special Ed. supervisor of all this stimulus money and how it could be used We were asked what our “wish list” was (not meaning we would get all or even most of it, but he was trying to see what was most needed, etc. and to prioritize and make things sort of fair) and we were specifically told that NONE of this stimulus money was to go for any staff/positions!!!!! It was explained to us this is because this was “temporary” money, meaning it will not be recurring every year or every other year and so forth so we could not count on a position hired with this money for any following school years. We were encouraged to use the money wisely and to know if it was not an item or consumable that we could not count on it year after year. (ie-stimulus money to pay for subscriptions for weekly reader for 30 students for 09-10 school year but don’t expect that “extra” money for 10-11 school year) So how come our administrators and us lowly teachers who did not go to Harvard like “The One” can understand this but Obama and his staff cannot even get the numbers even close to correct and they cannot understand the concepts of positions and hours worked and the difference between those 2?!?! Oh yeah, unlike Obama, we were not trying to make ourselves look good.
Heard this one today…
A guy that owned a construction company with 85 total employees was told that the record would reflect 85 saved jobs for EACH stimulus project he received. He had 8 total projects so the liars in the government counted 680 “created or saved” jobs.
He probably heard the million number from witch pelosie.
I just hope the jobs not saved will be the dumicrates next year.
