President Bush largely avoided answering questions about the 2008 presidential election during his press conference Thursday, but he did weigh in on Bill Clinton’s recent claim that he and the president’s father might embark on an around-the-world goodwill trip should Hillary Clinton win the White House.
“Well 41 didn’t think it’s necessary, it sounds like it’s going to be a one-man trip,” an amused President Bush said of his father, former President George H. W. Bush.
Yep, everything is just fine with Mayberry and the rest of the world.
He also wouldn’t answer questions about his administration’s destruction of those CIA tapes. Maybe he should just start pleading the 5th every time he comes out.
Keep supporting the stupid and corrupt. It make’s you SO easy to spot.
Collegiality among former presidents? Restoring our tarnished international reputation with goodwill emissaries? Har! I get it! ![]()
