On death, life and Oklahoma

My column for the West Bend Daily News is online.  It’s called, “On death, life and Oklahoma.”  It’s really just a collection of random thoughts.

I’m afraid that I shamelessly plagiarized from Wendy on a couple of items.  Alas, I often find it difficult to disentangle my thoughts from hers.  Here’s a taste:

* At the end of the day - at the end of a life - we all leave trinkets in our wake. These are the things to which people will cling when we are gone. Be mindful that it is the little things that define us.

  4. I loved the column. Every once in a while it’s nice to see something that everyone can relate to and agree with. And, I looked all over for the Wendy byline - clearly not pure Owen.
