O.J. Returns

Get ready for another circus.

O.J. Simpson must face trial on kidnapping, armed robbery and other charges stemming from a suspected sports memorabilia heist, a justice of the peace ruled Wednesday.

Defense attorneys had argued during a preliminary hearing that the case was based on the accounts of con artists and crooks, and they asked for the charges to be dropped.

Justice of the Peace Joe M. Bonaventure ruled all charges in the 12-count complaint would remain against Simpson and co-defendants Clarence “C.J.” Stewart and Charles “Charlie” Ehrlich.

I wonder if people will rally to his defense again or if enough time has passed for people to realize what a despicable human being he is.

  1. It’s going to OJ all the time, when the trial starts.  I think this is an open and shut case and look for a plea deal.  The only reason to bring this to trial will be publicity for OJ and his attorneys.  But at least iti is happening in Vegas, helping our economy, that and MPS staff coming here.

  2. The “Vienna Beef Hot Dog” place on about 40 or 50-something and Lisbon had a big “Not Guilty!” sign on their message board after the first verdict.  Just a tip…get your hot dogs somewhere else.
