  1. But there’s so much hope and change in his aura that his words are beyond meaning.

  2. Most people have no clue how the lights come on.  Think you’re paying a lot for your electric bill now?  Take away the cheapest and most plentiful source and see how that works for ya.

Here’s the deal.  We conservatives can sit down and shut up like we always do and be marginalized by the Socialist agenda.  Or, we can stand up and make a stink.  Imagine if every Conservative decided to stay home from work for one day.  This country would come to a halt.

    Think about it.

  3. Steve -

Good point.  Someone should write a book about how the entrepreneurs of the world go on strike and the results that would have…

Oh, wait.  Someone already did.  And it was good.

  4. A-hummmmm. Atlas Shrugged anyone? John Galt

This is shear madness. But if it was Obama or any other dem the result would be the same. No coal plants.

Coal has issues, but they could be solved much faster with an investment in clean coal technology. Who is going to want to do that with this albatross? Not the John Galts of the world.

No nukes, no coal, no drilling

  5. John Galt:  One has to know the consequences to make a decision on this issue.  Since most people don’t know how much electricity coal generates, they won’t care.  This is “stick it to the man” time.

  6. Amen brother. Most also don’t realize how dependent we are on natural gas. They will when there is a disruption of supply or a price spike in price.

Lots of good jobs in coal too. Not the kind an eliteist would want but not everybody in West Virginia or Kentucky can be VP of IBM.
