Obama Warns of Waste

The real question is: how will you be able to tell?

Invoking his own name-and-shame policy, President Barack Obama warned the nation’s mayors on Friday that he will “call them out” if they waste the money from his massive economic stimulus plan.

    The president did not specify how, exactly, he would call out one of his own agencies or a local government about wasteful projects.

  6. The Stimuliciousness was a waste of nearly a trillion dollars anyway.  Who cares about a few measly million.  I mean, really?  If The Chosen One (heretofore referred to as TCO) really wanted to stop waste, he’d have vetoed the bill.

  7. Saying Mayor Barrett “met with” Pres. Obama is like saying that I met with Ryan Braun several times this summer. There were hundreds of other mayors in DC; it’s doubtful that Obama even knows Barrett’s name.
