I received a robo call on behalf of Obama this afternoon. It was sponsored by the Wisconsin Democrats. It started out, “My name is Joe, and I’m a plumber in Wisconsin…” and then went on to extol the virtues of Obama. It seems that the Dems are trying to take ownership of the “Joe the plumber” mantra.
I had that message on my answering machine - I figured it was a misdirected “dialing for Dummocrats” call.
All robo calls should be illegal.
You know there is no real “Joe the plumber” from Wisconsin doing those calls. It probably was Frank Busalachi doing the voice over.
This tells me they know Obama’s freudian slip the other day was problematic.

No doubt about that - on McLaughlin Group Eleanor Clift (Newsweek) took her screechiness to a new level when the other panelists were pondering whether this reflected marxist, socialistic, or just typical Democratic ideological tendencies. You can read her like a book - when control of the Democratic message goes off kilter, she absolutely comes unhinged.
Also, I’m sure that the Wisconsin “Joe the Plumber” is a union shop plumber who leaves it to his employer to worry about minor details like how the business can meet expenses and make payroll. Thank heaven for those public sector wage-rated construction projects!
I’m with Hello. Robo-calls are a pestilence in our midst.
