Obama OK High Gas Prices

The Obamamessiah admitted on national television that he actually likes the idea of higher gas prices, thankyouverymuch, and that the only reason this is presenting a problem for the American people is because they went up so quickly. If they went up gradually, it wouldn’t be a strain on the American pocketbook, and everything would be hunky dory.

Yes, he really said it.

4. This is the agenda of the left - they WANT higher gas prices. Under the idiotic banner of global warming - they continue the same agenda when they have always had (before it was the just the “environment” in general.

   Great discussion last night on Kudlow and Kramer with two senators - I don’t remember the dem (some blowhard senator from the east coast) and the rep was a senator from Wyoming (who kept pushing coal) The topic was “Drill! Drill! Drill! which caught my attention as I was speed remoting through channels after dinner.

   The mantra was repeated again - higher prices for gas will cut consumption. When the moderator pointed out that we may have more oil now than Saudi Arabia, he just side stepped it.

   Green and “environmentalism” becoming the “trendy” thing to do.  Peer Pressure.  Neighbors against neighbors.  Citizen against citizen. “Why do you drive such a big SUV when you are all by yourself”  People now believe under the guise of global warming that they have justifiable reason to scorn other people for their private personal decisions.

   And all this on unproven science.  Which doesn’t matter to the socialists.  They aren’t about the science about global warming, they are about the CONTROL of peoples lives.

   And for that…. Science matters NOT.

   Bend over Freedom.. Its time to take a back seat to “saving the world”

9. The sad truth is that the liberals want high gas prices, at least the elitist liberals want the high gas prices.
   They bring in false (lies)arguements such as global warming and pollution to bolster their case.  But what has it gotten us?  Higher gas prices, food shortages, higher food prices, higher taxes and people losing their jobs.  Who does it hurt the most- the poor and middle class.  Thank you liberals.  You say you want to help the poor and middle class but all you do is screw them in the butt.  Thanks again.

10. High gas prices per se wouldn’t be a problem if the government didn’t prevent more domestic sources of oil from being drilled. What both Sens. Obama and McCain miss is bad policy had lead to real hardship.

    Also, realize some sources like tar sands and shale need high oil prices to justify their production.

11. we know republican deregulation allowed speculators to drive up the cost of crude with the enron loophole to which mccain and his entire crew are linked

    lying about what obama has said wont make that go away.

    dems will now close this loophole before nov. elections, which will magnify the already enormous roll neo-cons have had in fleecing the american consumer.  we can expect republican followers to craft some transparent lie for their followers to recite.
