Obama Lies About Deficits

He says...

In his weekly radio address, President Obama said: “I have made a firm commitment that healthcare reform will not add to the federal deficit over the next decade.”

But...

President Barack Obama on Tuesday proposed budget rules that would allow Congress to borrow tens of billions of dollars and put the nation deeper in debt to jump-start the administration’s emerging health care overhaul.

  1. I’m still waiting for someone to tell me what is wrong with the current system that it now needs to be socialized and turned into the system that everyone comes here to avoid/stay alive.

  2. I’m still waiting for empirical evidence that the government can handle this.  If they want to show it can handle health care, start with fixing Medicare, Medicaid and the VA system.  Those programs have failed miserably, but yet people think that Obamacare will work on a bigger scale?

  5. Would those be similar budget rules to the ones that Bush used to make the Iraq War not go on the yearly budget as well, and therefore made the deficit look smaller?

    Time and time again… party doesn’t matter any more.  They all spend like it doesn’t matter, and only half of you seem to complain at any one time.
