Obama Doesn’t Notice When the Little People Applaud Him

Or, I suppose it’s possible that he’s a liar.  I don’t buy that he’s forgetful, because the video of the speech is readily available and a competent campaign would have checked.

Well, it could be that he thought they were applauding him for calling one of their news reporters ‘sweetie’.  Or, it could just be another example of how the liberal branch of the Dem party are condescending to the unwashed masses, who don’t know how to care for themselves and need to be taken care of.

   Barack has figured out what many of use have known for years.  The electorate is fucking dumber than a jack-in-the-box on autopilot.

   Tell em what they want to year when they want to hear it.  The crowd cheers, the ‘movement’ moves on.  The big lie is perpetuated.  Don’t think, just vote!

6. Okay, just from the vid I’d say he’s “misremembered” the tepid response as a nonexistent response.

   The scary part is the “we” Obama manufactures who are supposed to work with automakers by paying them off in health care subsidies for making cleaner cars in the US.

   That’s worse than lying or misremembering something from a year ago - that’s the poorest grasp of economics on the planet, akin to the pop idea that things paid for by the government are “free.”

9. It’ll certainly be more entertaining than faux pas counting, name calling and unwarranted character assassination.

   Of course I should hasten to add that the left does this as well, and it makes me positively ill.  I think, frankly, that it weakens your arguments, undermines your own positions, and only drives away the very people whom you want to persuade.  Plus a lot of times it makes you look like a partisan tool.  The only things it has going for it, I suppose, is that it is a heck of a fun time for one’s ideological brethren, and it pisses off the opposite side.

11. Here Scott, I help you so that this thread can move on.

    What I don’t like about nearly every single one of Obama’s ideas and plans (via his website) is that I can’t find one of his ideas that doesn’t expand government or government oversight.

    And on this thread...he’s a no different that many politicians, talks a big game and lies to your face, and is also too arrogant or stupid to realize that people record and archive your speeches.
