No Bills

I wish we had more Democrats like this. 

More than a year into the current legislative session, Milwaukee lawmaker Barbara Toles has failed to do something that every other legislator has done:

Introduce a bill.

Legislative records show Toles hasn’t been the “author” on a single piece of legislation since the two-year session began in January 2009.

Not one.

  3. Part time legislature and term limits. The only bill these yahoos ever pass is the budget anyway - and they can’t even get that right.

  4. I find fault with her.  She could have been spending her time working to repeal laws that have been enacted.

  5. I didn’t say she was without fault, but when it comes to gov’t I’d rather have nothing than the wrong thing.

  6. I’m partly with Bill.  No legislative body has enough necessary work to be full time.  Cut them all back to part time, and cut their salaries as well.
