New York Terror Plot Foiled

Excellent. 

Four men have been arrested in connection with alleged plots to attack a synagogue and a military base in New York, US prosecutors say.

The men were planning to blow up a Jewish synagogue in the Riverdale area of the Bronx, the district attorney said in a statement.

They were also plotting to shoot down aircraft at a military base.

The group intended to use Stinger surface-to-air missiles to bring the planes down, the statement said.

  2. Ah yes, Guantanamo Bay.  Never mind that this was a year long investigation and that an FBI informant first met with this group in June 2008.  Wow!  And to think, right under Dick Cheney’s nose!

    As for how these wingnuts got their hands on Stingers, I’m sure Mayor Bloomberg will demand an immediate federal investigation of all gun shows in the state of Virginia.
