Museum Knife Stolen in West Bend

Totally NOT cool

image

A rare World War II combat weapon was taken from a display at the Washington County Historical Society’s museum, according to Chip Beckford, the society’s director.

Beckford described the weapon as a combination knife/brass knuckles that paratroopers wore strapped to their legs as part of their combat kit.

The knife is sometimes known as the “1918 brass knuckle knife,” but its proper designation is actually the US Mark I, according to Historical Society information.

I hope they catch the jerk.
