Most Embarrassing Things About America

Here’s one guy’s list of the most embarrassing things about America.  I agree with #1, #4 (although we are by no means unique), #5, and #7. 

1. Owen, I won’t worry about this group having too much influence.

   Most of what these young group writes is recycled brain-dead nonsense, such as the Kansas mention.

   There are a lot more smarter young people than these.  And, there are a lot of things worse than the eight mentioned from this group of seemingly white middle-class.

   I do have to say that, as a Yankee, (regarding the slavery mention) it sometimes occurs to me that I wish we lost the American Civil War. The southerners can have ther right-wing politcs and right-wing everything else!

3. I get a kick out of this from #6

   Everyone in the town buys everything there, because they have no other choice

   Now if this was referring to the government and not Wal-Mart the libs would jump up with glee

4. Australia has just passed us as “fattest nation.” I’m doing my part to return us to our rightful position as #1…

   (I’ve got no problems with Kansas-the-state, but the Jayhawks have got to stop signing basketball players from Iowa.  *spit*)
