Mommy Falk

Um, no thanks. It’s creepy when politicians want to be our parents.

Falk likened the state to a broken family. Sometimes, she said, it takes a mother with a firm, strong hand to bring it together again.

“We need a mom and I’m anxious to be that mom and bring us back together,” Falk said.

  2. Liberals are always ready to take control over people’s lives. It helps them fill the black hole in their wretched souls.

H.L. Mencken:  “The urge to save humanity is almost always a false front for the urge to rule it.”

  3. Woulde give new meaning to term “nanny state”.

    Ick.

Getting past the “ick” factor, it raises another interesting question, does this mean motherhood is desirable and she is against abortion now?

I’d hate to have a gov., like Falk, that wants to actively abort the taxpaying “children” at random when she can’t afford us with the big deficits she would incur.

  7. Try to imagine the local media reaction if Scott Walker had made the comment that he thought he should be the State’s daddy!

  8. “We need a mom and I’m anxious to be that mom and bring us back together,” Falk said. I am thinking she needs to take her supporters to the woodshed first and give them a good sound paddling because the incivility rests squarely on their shoulders.

  11. To take the analogy further, if you’re a member of a public-sector union then she’s a tiger mom standing up for her favorite.

But if you’re just a taxpayer, you’te the unwanted stepchild who owes her a whole lot for all she’s done for you (you ungrateful wretch) so you better pay up if you know what’s good for you.
