Nice of him to settle with our money.
Sen. Mark Miller (D-Monona), co-chairman of the Joint Finance Committee, agreed to a settlement of $4,447 paid by the state to end the case and cover part of the legal costs for The Lakeland Times. Miller, who ultimately released the records to the newspaper, didn’t acknowledge any wrongdoing as part of the settlement.
Man, what’s with all the spam comments these days?
Perhaps Miller should’ve simply had his staff wait two months, then provide a four-page summary of the documents and billed The Lakeland Times $2,800 for the effort. Would that have been better? Because it seems to work for Scott Walker.

No kidding. The lousy jerks are actually getting pretty good too, pulling text from the post or other comments into their own so it’s more difficult for automated anti-spam code to catch them not to mention tougher for us to sift through.
To the blog owners - how about removing the URL option from the personal info or at least from displaying on comments. Take away that & maybe it removes the motivation for spamming.
Between the all the spam and the really poor quality discussions on a number of the places I visit lately, blog reading & discussions have really been frustrating lately.
this post I not interested.
