Congrats to Patrick McIlheran.

I’m… speechless… Pat McIlheran nominated for the same awared as Jonah Goldberg and Clive Crook… Wow, Pat must have some pictures of somebody.
It’s always inspiring to see that those who have been given so little, can still go so far.
If he gets this award, will he be fired by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel? This would be consistent with that unorganization’s efforts to morph itself from a great paper into a rag.
In a relatively brief period of time Pat Mcilheran has demonstrated considerable skill as a writer. This would not mean much but for his strength as a reporter. Quite a talented gentleman.
Jerry Lewis, Gary Coleman ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/smurfthis/811001593/ ) and Paddy Mac. There’s just no telling who those wacky Frenchies are going to take a shine to.
I thought the prize was for journalism? Did I read wrong?
Jounamalism. They got the “wit” part wrong, too.
Warning, do not drink anything before reading this or you will blow it out of your nose.
Does this sound like Paddy Mac or Pudgy Jonah (bolding mine)?
The prize was developed to encourage and reward writers whose published works eloquently and wittily elucidate the institutions of a free society: limited government, rule of law brokered by an independent judiciary, protection of private property, free markets, free speech, and sound science(!!!!!).
