Lubed Up and Working on Wood

My neighbor decided to do some pruning of a gigantic tree this afternoon.  I had the opportunity to fire up the chainsaw and spend a few hours cutting wood.  It’s always a good day when I get to use the chainsaw.

  3. Pruning generally implies smaller precision tools.

    You know - like REAL arborists or REAL tree farmers.

    Only a fool prunes with a chainsaw.  And then they do so from a bucket on the end of a boom.

    Owen, somehow I think you were cutting small branches with a chainsaw.

  4. Actually, we were pruning a beautiful 70-foot elm of some large branches that were in danger of hitting a house. 

    Of course, feel free to be an asshole.
