Heh.
Barrett’s numbers for the last half of 2009 lag behind those of Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker, a Republican candidate. Walker, who will face former congressman Mark Neumann in the September GOP primary, reported earlier Monday that he had raised $1.79 million in the final six months of last year, bringing his total cash on hand to more than $2 million.
Meh. Barrett’s been running for what, three months, compared to Walker’s eight years. If that is all Walker has to hang his hat onto, it will be a fun year.
Where do you buy those rose colored glasses?
It’s true, Mayor Tom has only been in the race for a short time. Walker is popular and his actions and character are VERY well known. I suspect that when some of Tom’s failures and mistakes come more into focus, his numbers will do even worse.
I only hope that Obama comes to campaign for Mayor Tom. That’ll sink him faster than a U-boat did the Lusitania.
The most interesting item gleaned from Scott Walker’s fund raising is that +18000 people have contributed from all 72 counties across the state…that’s grass roots baby! Especially at this early stage of the election.
You boys aren’t paying too much attention. As I predicted, the beginning of the end is coming. Now the County will be cutting on public safety and slowing the wheels of justice.
Oh, and before I forget. Walker’s already blown almost a million and isn’t winning. And he has so many unpaid bills. Tsk, tsk.
