Lagging

Heh.

Barrett’s numbers for the last half of 2009 lag behind those of Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker, a Republican candidate. Walker, who will face former congressman Mark Neumann in the September GOP primary, reported earlier Monday that he had raised $1.79 million in the final six months of last year, bringing his total cash on hand to more than $2 million.

  1. Meh.  Barrett’s been running for what, three months, compared to Walker’s eight years.  If that is all Walker has to hang his hat onto, it will be a fun year.

  3. It’s true, Mayor Tom has only been in the race for a short time. Walker is popular and his actions and character are VERY well known. I suspect that when some of Tom’s failures and mistakes come more into focus, his numbers will do even worse.

I only hope that Obama comes to campaign for Mayor Tom. That’ll sink him faster than a U-boat did the Lusitania.

  4. The most interesting item gleaned from Scott Walker’s fund raising is that +18000 people have contributed from all 72 counties across the state…that’s grass roots baby!  Especially at this early stage of the election.

  5. You boys aren’t paying too much attention.  As I predicted, the beginning of the end is coming.  Now the County will be cutting on public safety and slowing the wheels of justice.

  6. Oh, and before I forget.  Walker’s already blown almost a million and isn’t winning.  And he has so many unpaid bills.  Tsk, tsk.
