Johnson Joins Walker Camp

That’s a bit of a coup

Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker has hired two veteran Republican political consultants to oversee his campaign for governor, including one who used to work for the man considered to be Walker’s main rival for the GOP nomination.

R.J. Johnson will be Walker’s campaign consultant. A former state GOP executive director, he ran the 1998 Senate campaign of former GOP Rep. Mark Neumann, who narrowly lost to incumbent Democratic Sen. Russ Feingold of Middleton that year.

Johnson is an experienced campaign operative.  This will serve Walker well.

  5. May come as a shock but many voters who barely remember Tommy almost ten years later who could give a crap and the remainder who did, many could give a crap.
