1) I opened the windows to let fresh air into the house.
2) The motorcycles are out in force.
3) When I got home from Madison yesterday, my windshield managed to massacre plenty of bugs.
It’s SPRING!
Pfft! I’ve got m’bloomin’ heater on! What is wrong with THIS picture!
It’s all about perspective, Kate!
Today I moved my snow shovel from it’s winter position by my back door to it’s summer position hanging in my garage.
I hope I haven’t jinxed us into another snow fall.
Posted by on April 05, 2008 at 1657 hrsIt was 82 today, sun shining, birds chirping and all’s well with the world. I am so glad to be back in TEXAS !!
Posted by on April 05, 2008 at 1946 hrsIt certainly beats:
1) I opened the door and darn it, more snow blew into the house.
2) The snow plows are out in force.
3) When I got home from Madison yesterday, my wheel wells managed to accumulate a bunch of slushy snow goop.
It’s STILL WINTER!
Yes, ma’am, but it’s going to be plenty hot down here soon enough, I’m afraid. We’ve already hit 90 once here in Austin. We might all be looking for cooler climes before this summer’s over.
Posted by on April 05, 2008 at 2139 hrsYard has a few strips of grass showing between the snow banks, only half of the driveway is still ice, and no snow forcasted until the 6-8 inches on Tues night. I haven’t needed to use my 4WD for 3 days now.
It’s been spring for 2 weeks.
Good news! We finally have the windows open! And my rose bushes seem to still be alive!
Now, if we can manage not to float away, all will be well. (I think I’m getting webbed feet!)
