Hillary Clinton to be Secretary of State?

Looks like that may be the case

Hillary Clinton plans to accept the job of secretary of state offered by Barack Obama, who is reaching out to former rivals to build a broad coalition administration, the Guardian has learned.

  1. I was expecting a SCOTUS position, but Secretary of State was next on the short list of ‘how to pay Hillary back’.

  2. I agree Secy. of State is better than Justice Clinton.  But I thought BHO was planning to restore the USA’s good standing in the global community.

  3. Anybody is better than Maddy Albright. HRC? Whatev… Probably better than John Kerry. I think Richardson would have been the best pick.

  6. Not that odd. The worthless US media are all preoccupied with what kind of dog the Obamas are going to get, whether or not Obama has the clout with college presidents to get a football playoff, and look! McCain and Obama are meeting after they were so mean to each other!

  7. Maybe he just wants to be able to tell Hillary what to do… but for him - I think he’d be better off putting her on the court - gets her out of his hair.
