Hard Drives and Herb Kohl

FYI, I experienced a catastrophic hard drive failure this morning and am desperately trying to recover data and reinstall.  It’s all fun and games until someone loses data.

In the meantime, here’s a fun story from Gary Spivak to enjoy.

Some folks love to criticize Sen. Herb Kohl saying the senior senator hasn’t been the most aggressive lawmaker during his years in the U.S. Senate.

Lay off. Just this week the New York Times reported that the Democrat convinced the Appropriations Committee and the full Senate to accept a measure that benefits a Green Bay hospital. The facility, by the way, happens to be a client Ted Bornstein, a former Kohl chief of staff turned D.C. lobbyist and Bill Broydrick, Wisconsin’s own superlobbyist.

  1. Hard drive failure is the reason I just ordered one of these for the homestead’s network.

  4. That ‘favor’ IIRC was to allow a DOCTOR-OWNED hospital to expand (?)—exactly what Milwakee Heart Hospital was not able to do.

See McIlheran’s op-ed in MJS of a couple of days back.

  5. I do not see anything wrong with a congress person not doing anything.
IMO they could take a great(er) majority of the year off.
