Guns and Roses’ New Album “Democracy”

Will it be any good?

Guns N’ Roses will release its first album of new material in 17 years on Nov. 23, and Best Buy Co. Inc. has exclusive rights to sell it.

The album will be released on CD, Vinyl LP, and digital downloads at Best Buy Co. Inc. stores and on http://www.bestbuy.com Best ,Buy said Wednesday. Pre-orders for the album through the company’s Web site began Wednesday. The first single off the album, called “Chinese Democracy” after the album name, also premiered Wednesday on the radio.

    This song is OK. “Better” was all over the radio earlier this year until Interscope made stations pull it. That is a “better” song. Youtube had/has a bunch of video clips of songs being played live by GNR. Tons of people in NYC have heard it because Axl spent a few months showing up to clubs to play it.

    I haven’t heard anything negative about it.

    This took so long because Axl was holding the album hostage trying to get more money out of the label. They’ve already gave Axl $13 MILLION for the album and they weren’t going to give more.

  3. This isn’t Guns n Roses. It’s an Axl Rose solo project.
    The real Guns n Roses replaced its lead singer and changed its name to Velvet Revolver.

  5. I was a huge GNR fan back in the day, and Appetite still holds up IMO, but this song is just awful.
