Glenn Grothman Chooses Not to Run for Lt. Governor

Mark Belling reported this afternoon that State Senator Glenn Grothman will NOT run for Lt. Governor.  Grothman began circulating papers a few days ago.  I caught wind of it yesterday, but was not at liberty to disclose it.

  1. Almost seems like non-story #3 for the week.

  2. Almost doing something and then deciding not to is pretty much the story of Glenn Grothman’s political career.  I’m sure the allure of Lite Guv was tempting though, considering its the one job in the Capitol that might take less work than Senate backbencher.

  5. It takes a man of character and integrity not to let his desires get in the way of his righteous ambitions. This appears to be a good decisions that will keep a good man in their trying to to the right things.

  6. I like having Glen as my state senator , as his area is the most conservative cluster in the state his policies and ideals are spot on with the publics opinion. He is a perfect fit, he calls it like it is no beating around the bush, we are lucky to have him represent us.
I dont want a movie star or fast talker looking out for my best interests.

I agree. The senator for the district on the other side of the street from me is Joe Leibham, who I like even better.
