Gleisner’s Interesting Past

Nice

In December 1987, Gleisner sued his former law firm for $10 million, alleging that it had subjected him to such abuse that he spent months in a mental hospital.

I guess I’ll be writing in Jeff Wagner.

  1. I’m no clairvoyant, but it seemed to me that there was something a bit odd about G’s background as reconstructed on his website.

  2. Come on, it was twenty years ago and he got appropriate treatment.  Better him on the court than Doyle’s appointed toady.

  3. What does this say about Paul Bucher’s judgment and political acumen? From what I gather, he was instrumental in recruiting and propping up this guy for the seat.

I like your idea of writing in Wagner, but I’m going to vote for Gleisner on the basis of age…at least he won’t be cemented in the seat for the next 30 years like Neubauer would (will be). Then, maybe conservatives can find a real choice next time around.
