Germantown Rejects School Referenda

Excellent.

Germantown voters Tuesday overwhelmingly rejected two referendums - one that called for spending $22.5 million for a new elementary school and school and technology and security upgrades districtwide and another that sought to raise the district’s state-mandate revenue limits.

  1. They have tried 2X a year for the last 3 years. When will they understand “No!”

  2. In Germantown you have to vote against it three times before you get them to realize it isn’t going to pass.

Expect to see the question again during the February primaries when they can see if they can sneak it through when voter turnout is usually light (hint - this hasn’t worked before.)

Of course once the Dems remove the tax increase limits and the QEO next year - they won’t need a referendum.
